This policy explains how Architectural Design Studio, operated by Joshua Berindei, handles information submitted through this website or sent in connection with a quote request.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to this website and communications that begin through it. It does not govern a third party's separate website, platform, or privacy practices. “Studio,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Architectural Design Studio as operated by Joshua Berindei.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you request a quote, call, email, or otherwise contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, project city or location, project type, approximate budget, timeline, project description, and any plans, photographs, property information, or attachments you later choose to send.
Information processed automatically
Our hosting and communications providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, referring page, date and time, approximate region, security events, and diagnostic logs. We do not currently install analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
Sensitive information
Please do not send Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, medical information, precise access codes, or other sensitive information through the quote form or ordinary email unless we specifically request it through an appropriate method.
3. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and evaluate or prepare quote discussions.
- Communicate about requested services and potential projects.
- Perform services under a separate written agreement.
- Maintain business, tax, insurance, and project records.
- Protect the website, users, property, and our legal rights; prevent fraud or misuse.
- Comply with law, regulations, court orders, and professional obligations.
- Improve our communications, services, and website.
Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in promotional text messages or marketing email lists.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to:
- Service providers that support hosting, email, file storage, security, bookkeeping, or other operations, subject to their own terms and appropriate restrictions.
- Project participants such as consultants, contractors, engineers, permitting professionals, or advisers when you authorize it or when needed for requested work.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property.
- A successor in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use targeted advertising on this site.
5. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to respond to you, manage projects and records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, insurance, or professional requirements. Retention periods vary by record type and relationship.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small service business. No internet transmission, email, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You send information at your own risk and should use care with confidential materials.
6. California privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies and whether the Studio is subject to a particular statutory threshold, California residents may have rights to request access to or disclosure of personal information, correction, deletion, portability, limitation of certain sensitive-information uses, and information about sale or sharing; to opt out of sale or sharing; and to receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a right.
We do not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where legally applicable, we will treat a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request for the browser or device sending it.
To make a request, email jbarchitecturaldesignstudio@gmail.com or call (714) 812-1464. Describe your request and the information or interaction involved. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before responding. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may ask for proof of authority and identity. Some information may be exempt, and we may retain information when legally permitted or required.
7. Children
This website is intended for adults seeking residential design and drafting services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
8. Your choices and third parties
You may choose not to provide information, but we may be unable to evaluate or respond to a project request. You can manage browser storage as described in our Cookie Policy. Email, map, social, hosting, and other third-party services may have separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their independent practices.
If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ. We may update this policy as our practices or laws change. The date above identifies the latest version.
